Dan Stanley
Dan Stanley, previously a resident of Barrington, RI, and Christian education teacher at Zion Bible College, has accepted the invitation to serve as the national Sunday School Department's training coordinator. Dan first sensed a desire to be more involved in discipleship during seminary, when God called him to focus his ministry on Christian education, making disciples, and helping churches become strong agencies of discipleship.
Dan brings many years of experience in discipleship, teaching, and preaching. As the new training coordinator, Dan hopes to help teachers become passionate, prepared, relational disciplers. Dan’s advice to teachers who want to improve their skills in teaching ministry: “Never be satisfied with where you’re at. When you read a training book or attend a training event, it’s not just knowledge you receive… you’re also receiving encouragement that will reenergize your teaching ministry.”
Look for training materials and resources from Dan coming soon to the Sunday School web site. Dan promises Sunday School Website visitors: “If you ask me a question about Sunday School, Christian education, or discipleship, I’ll have an answer for you 79% of the time (which just happens to be my high school grade point average). But I also promise that I’ll find an answer for you the other 21% of the time.”
